We have all had that moment in our lives where alcohol has altered our judgment and the next day we totally regret what we did.Well a few gallons of Jack Daniels and some Wild Turkey is what Barack Obama is hoping does the trick to get his stimulus package passed. A presidential cocktail reception – for Congressional leaders only – is taking place on Wednesday evening at the White House.
The event, scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., is the first-of-a-kind gathering in the new administration and the latest sign that Mr. Obama is attempting to build relationships with Congress.
The reception will take place in the Red, Blue and Green rooms of the executive mansion. I'm thinking maybe playing a little Marvin Gaye "Let's Get it On", lower the lights and then just work the room.
Open bar, two maybe three hours later and you are in. Get'em to sign off on the stimulus and then leave'em drunk on the floor........sweet.
