GOP Strategist Calls Sen. Arlen Specter & Susan Collins "Wussies"

Senator Arlen Specter and Susan Collins are at least two of the republicans that are supposed to be voting for the current stimulus package which is actually close to 50/50, with 42% tax cuts and 58% spending.

"The American people want us to work together. They don't want to see us dividing along partisan lines on the most serious crisis confronting our country," said Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, one of two GOP senators who signaled support for the bill.

But according to republican strategist Alex Castellanos on CNN there are just wussies:

Limbaugh Helping Dems and Indys Come Together?

That's why I'm glad people like Keith Olbermann are not really that popular as he thinks he is. Because people like that alienate themselves and their party from everyone else. In comes Rush Limbaugh, the not so new, but new voice of the republican party.

Rush has huge numbers and a lot of fans, but these are people who have agreed with him for years.

Independents will not be swayed by people like Limbaugh no more than Olbermann. All this means is the same place we were in the 2008 campaign. Unless the republican party gets a strong voice by a real leader in the congress or senate or state government, the only strength they will gain is with people who were all ready at the losing party:

By Eric Kleefeld/ TPM.com

A new Gallup poll explains why Democrats are now so eager to connect the anti-stimulus bill Republicans to Rush Limbaugh, and to set up Rush as the new Leader of the Opposition: Independents hate him, he can galvanize Democrats...and Republican voters actually do like him.

Limbaugh's favorable-unfavorable numbers among Republicans stand at 60%-23%. Among independents, though, he's at just 25%-45%. And Democrats definitely have it in for him at 6%-63%. Multiplying out the partisan subsets in this poll, we get an overall top-line result of 28% favorability for Limbaugh across the country, compared to 45% unfavorable.

So if Limbaugh does become a national issue, the data shows he could be a net plus for the Dems -- though the obvious caveat exists that swing voters could have more important things to worry about than some radio loudmouth.

President Obama to Have Sex Back in Chicago for Valentine's Day

Silk sheets, a little Barry White, Mad-Dog 20/20 and some KY brand yours and mine............and Bam!

President Barack Obama will be heading home to Chicago for the first time since he took office.

Spokesman Robert Gibbs says the president and first lady are planning to spend next weekend in Chicago -- most likely in the Hyde Park home they left to move into the White House.

Gibbs says the Obamas are expected to go out for a Valentine's Day celebration Saturday evening, though he wouldn't say where they might go.

He says they're expected to return to Washington on Sunday or Monday depending on how much stamina he has left.

Judge Blasts Sarah Palin: "She Used Her Child as a Prop"

On this issue, I only give you what I would do. My infant child would not be in that type of arena. First it's too noisy, filled with germs (people wanting to kiss and touch), lights are flashing in their eyes and overall it's a bit overwhelming for them.

On the hand I don't think Sarah Palin mishandled or put her child in any jeporday by bringing her to the rallies and such. Hey but everyone has an opinion:

A federal judge got political Wednesday, taking a swipe at Sarah Palin while powwowing with lawyers in the case of an autistic boy whose parents are fighting a ban on big dogs at their luxury upper East Side building.

Manhattan Federal Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald blasted the Alaska governor and former vice presidential candidate for bringing her Down syndrome child on stage after a debate.

"That kid was used as a prop," Buchwald told lawyers during a hearing on Wednesday. "And that to me as a parent blew my mind."

Michael Steele Fires All the White Folks

Well well well. The RNC thought they would make themselves more popular by electing their first Black Chairman, it's looks like that backfired for all those poor White workers they have. Now Mr. Steele can fill all those positions with an army of pro-Black soldiers that will do his bidding.......revenge is sweet!

One week after Michael Steele won a hotly contested race to be the chairman of the Republican National Committee, he has cleaned house and laid off almost the entire RNC staff.

Steele met with the full staff on Tuesday and word of the mass layoffs came shortly after that. According to sources familiar with the move, all of the communications and political staffers are being let go.

Some senior staff members -- in expectation of being let go -- submitted their resignations shortly after Steele won the chairmanship last Friday. Others have already found new jobs, most notably RNC political director Rich Beeson who will return to his post at FLS Direct, and Amber Wilkerson who will serve as national spokeswoman at the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

Such an overhaul is not entirely.....

Minnesota Needs to Be Taught How to Run an Election

At this point I could care less who wins the senate race in Minnesota, I just wish they could get their act together. This is the most sorry attempt at running a election as you can get. How in the hell as of today, can new ballots that were never counted just recently turn up.

This makes no sense what so ever. Imagine if other states had ran their elections like Minnesota has done. We could probably have six or seven other states still without senators or congressman.

Could someone could please explain how a box of ballots turn up months after an election has taken place? Maybe I got some ballots under my bed or something..........Let me go check:

Perry Mason, meet Rachel Smith.

Smith, the top elections official in Anoka County, dropped a minor bombshell Thursday in the courtroom where a lawsuit over Minnesota's U.S. Senate race was being heard. She testified that the county has found — within the prior 24 hours — a dozen or more ballots that were never counted in the statewide recount that ended last month.

While the number is not enough to overcome Democrat Al Franken's 225-vote lead over former Republican Sen. Norm Coleman, it suggests there might be other uncounted ballots in other counties. Only a handful of elections officials have testified in the recount trial so far.

The news came just hours after Franken argued before the state Supreme Court that.....

Who Gives a F@%k About Wearing a Jacket?

Political party opposites seem to criticize their opponents on anything and everything. I am the first to admit that the party I am a member of would chastise George Bush on some insignificant subjects.

Likewise the outgoing administration has thrown it's shots at Obama and his team. We recently had former Vice President Dick Cheney warning of large scale terrorist attacks because of what the new administration is doing in regards to Gitmo and anti-terror tactics. While the new approach to stopping terrorism can be debated on end, I do feel the other criticism on wearing a jacket in the White House is frivolous and idiotic. This is something Andrew Card the former chief of staff to George Bush has been in the media complaining about.

Wearing a jacket or dress code does not make you a great leader, making good decisions on the other hand does. I would gladly let our president wear Bermuda shorts and flip flops if he could solve our financial problems quickly.

If ever there was a time for both parties to stop the childish bickering and try to work together to bring America back o the economic power it once was, that time is now. Andrew Card should maybe have saved his critique in a book to come out later. This only makes his argument at this point in our nation's current crisis more of the same childish and petty subject both parties have been doing for quite some time:

Here is what former Chief of Staff in the Bush Administration Andrew Card had to say:

"The Oval Office symbolizes...the Constitution, the hopes and dreams, and I'm going to say democracy. And when you have a dress code in the Supreme Court and a dress code on the floor of the Senate, floor of the House, I think it's appropriate to have an expectation that there will be a dress code that respects the office of the President."

By the way Mr.Card, Obama is not the first President to not wear a jacket in the Oval Office:

State Legislator Wants Bill Ayers Fired From Teaching Job in Chicago

While I am no fan of Bill Ayers, I feel this is a waste of taxpayers time. With the economy the way it is and people in my state losing so many jobs right now, I think there are more pressing things than trying to get Ayers terminated. The funny thing about it, he is actually one hell of a teacher:

A Republican in the Democratic-dominated Illinois Senate wants to fire university professor William Ayers, whose history as a 1960s radical became a national campaign issue because of his association with President Barack Obama.

Ayers, a member of the Weather Underground group blamed for setting off bombs in government buildings to protest the Vietnam War, became a flashpoint in the presidential campaign. Before he was a state senator, Obama worked on school reform issues with Ayers, a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

State Sen. Larry Bomke, a Springfield-area Republican, wants Ayers removed from his university post under a proposal that says anyone who has committed an act of violence against the governments of the United States or Illinois cannot work at a public university.

Ayers could not be reached for comment. But his wife and former Weather Underground member, Bernardine Dohrn, called the bill "obviously, patently insane."

GOP Rep: "Republicans Need to be More Like the Taliban"

(Sessions holds new GOP insurgent weapon)

In an interview with National Journal's Hotline, Republican Rep. Pete Sessions of Texas suggested his party could follow the model of the Taliban in its legislative battles
:

“Insurgency, we understand perhaps a little bit more because of the Taliban,” Sessions said during a meeting yesterday with Hotline editors. “And that is that they went about systematically understanding how to disrupt and change a person’s entire processes. And these Taliban — I’m not trying to say the Republican Party is the Taliban. No, that’s not what we’re saying. I’m saying an example of how you go about [sic] is to change a person from their messaging to their operations to their frontline message. And we need to understand that insurgency may be required when the other side, the House leadership, does not follow the same commands, which we entered the game with.”

Obama: "How I Became a Christian"

P
resident Barack Obama spoke out Thursday about his religious transformation. The President's comments came at the National Prayer Breakfast.

Here's what Obama said, according to the prepared remarks.

"I was not raised in a particularly religious household. I had a father who was born a Muslim but became an atheist, grandparents who were non-practicing Methodists and Baptists, and a mother who was skeptical of organized religion, even as she was the kindest, most spiritual person I’ve ever known. She was the one who taught me as a child to love, and to understand, and to do unto others as I would want done.

I didn’t become a Christian until many years later, when I moved to the South Side of Chicago after college. It happened not because of indoctrination or a sudden revelation, but because I spent month after month working with church folks who simply wanted to help neighbors who were down on their luck – no matter what they looked like, or where they came from, or who they prayed to. It was on those streets, in those neighborhoods, that I first heard God’s spirit beckon me. It was there that I felt called to a higher purpose – His purpose. "

Gitmo Detainee Gets Cell Phone, Apple Pie, Truck Mag's & Chew Tobacco........Sweet!

Okay none of these guys country's want them, some states here at home say no, so what do we do? Do we keep it open with our tax dollars? Giving supposed terrorist McDonald's apple pies and a cell phone is something that our own prisoners here don't get.

The word terrorist is scary I know, but are they any worst than what we have now. Men who have raped small children, women who have cut the fetuses out of pregnant women, mass murderers and serial killers. Some of these people are still free and some behind bars. What the hell are we scared of?

There are currently still terror cells operating here in our country now, terrorism is not something we can hide from and throw into Gitmo. It's here folks, no acting like we can't be hurt from it. We must be the leaders in showing the world that we can follow all the way through on the war on terror and have them tried and punished to rot or put to death right here on U.S. Soil.

UN Says Hamas Seized Aid Meant For Gaza Needy

I understand how the people of Gaza feel, really I do. The people that just want to live in peace. But they need to understand and realize as long as they look to Hamas for leadership they will continue to suffer and will dwell in war and death surrounding them:

JERUSALEM (AP) _ Hamas police seized thousands of blankets and food parcels meant for the needy in Gaza, the U.N. said Wednesday, a move that could threaten the provision of aid that is essential for more than half of Gaza's impoverished residents.

Hamas policemen broke into an aid warehouse in Gaza City on Tuesday evening and confiscated 3,500 blankets and more than 4,000 food parcels, said Christopher Gunness, a spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.

Gunness said the incident was "absolutely unacceptable.

He said police confiscated aid meant for 500 families after U.N. officials refused to voluntarily hand it over to the Hamas-run Ministry of Social Affairs. Similar U.N. aid packages had already been distributed to 70,000 residents over the past two weeks.

Ahmad Kurd, the Hamas Minister of Social Affairs, did not deny the aid had been seized, but countered that the U.N. had been handing out relief to groups tied to Hamas' opponents.

"UNRWA did not do what it said it would do, and began distributing its aid to groups that tie their activities to political activism," Kurd said Wednesday.

Israeli officials have accused the militant group of routinely confiscating aid meant for needy Gazans. Gunness said this was the first time Hamas had seized its goods since it took control of the territory in 2007.

The U.N. agency provides food, education and health care services to more than half of Gaza's 1.4 million residents.

Hamas is under pressure to provide aid to Gazans, who are facing more hardship than ever since Israel's devastating three-week military offensive that ended Jan. 18. The operation, aimed at halting rocket fire from the territory, killed hundreds of civilians and left thousands destitute after their homes were damaged or destroyed.

Tensions between Hamas and the U.N. could make it difficult for the international agency to continue providing desperately needed services.

Some international donors have expressed concern that funds intended to help rebuild Gaza could be misused if they fall into Hamas' hands, and the U.N. had been trying to assuage those concerns.

The United Nations is expected to take a leading role in rebuilding Gaza, because Israel and the international community will not deal with Hamas.

The rival Palestinian administration in the West Bank said it will donate $600 million to help Gaza residents rebuild their homes. In an effort to bypass Hamas, Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad said the money from Western donors would be channeled through commercial banks directly to recipients.

The moderate government of Fayyad and President Mahmoud Abbas lost control of Gaza to Hamas in 2007 but is eager to regain a role there.

Bank CEO: "Not Fair To Cap Our Salaries"

With President Obama's plan to limit the compensations of executives of companies who receive bailout funds, it has set off a debate to whether it is fair or not. I am the first to say the government should not be involved in private or public companies. I believe they should be allowed to run their business as they see fit and pay employees how they want.

On the flip side of that argument is this bailout. The money that is being used to help out the failing banks and businesses is yours, mine and everyone else's.

It is not money directly from the government but from taxpayers.
So if you come to me and borrow some cash, while you are making 40 million dollars a year (that's at least 39.9 million more than me) and you want to take everyone including yourself to Vegas and fly a corporate jet while I sit in coach.............then

I say you are going to have to give up something. If someone receiving welfare get a check from the government and goes out a buys a plasma TV people criticize that person as not being responsible. If you make over a certain amount of money you do not qualify for welfare assistance. What's the difference?

JPMorgan Chase & Co. Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon said it’s “unfair” for politicians to criticize Wall Street pay without differentiating compensation based on performance.

“It’s unfair to talk about us as one,” Dimon, who was paid $1 million last year and didn’t accept a bonus, said today at a conference sponsored by Crain’s New York Business. “Not every company was responsible.”

U.S. President Barack Obama and politicans worldwide have criticized financial industry executives for taking multi- million dollar pay packages after banks and brokerages racked up more than $800 billion of losses and writedowns on credit- related assets. Dimon, 52, is among CEOs including Bank of America Corp.’s Kenneth Lewis and Morgan Stanley’s John Mack who opted not to take bonuses for last year.

Obama: "I Screwed Up", Takes Responsibility For Daschle Problem

Jennifer Loven | Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama is taking responsibility for mistakes in the handling of the tax controversy that led to Tom Daschle's withdrawal as President Barack Obama's nominee to be health and human services secretary, saying: "I screwed up."

The president did a series of back-to-back television interviews in which the subject of failed nominees was a top subject.

Obama told NBC "I'm frustrated with myself" for unintentionally sending a message that there are "two sets of rules" for paying taxes, "one for prominent people and one for ordinary folks."

"I take responsibility for this mistake," he told Fox News.

Tom Daschle: A Creature of the System

Short piece by Eugene Robinson about how Tom Daschle is like every other politician we have. From alderman on up, they all seem to take advantage of the system in regards to perks. We elect these guys to stand up and fight for us, but it seems most of the time they are out for their own futures and interests. I am not saying that all are criminals like Blagojevich, but having drivers, getting free work done on your home and kissing the ass of every special interests groups because they donate some cash to campaign is getting real old:

The problem with Tom Daschle's nomination as health and human services secretary and health czar wasn't just that he failed to pay income tax on the use of a car and the services of a driver. That's what forced him to withdraw, but the more fundamental issue was, or should have been, that he had the free use of a chauffeured limousine in the first place. The real problem was that Daschle's post-Senate career so vividly illustrates the back-scratching culture that Barack Obama has pledged to change.

Daschle, who is not a lawyer, was being paid a million dollars a year by a law firm. As what? Not a lobbyist -- at least, not officially. But it's safe to say that he wouldn't have been offered that sinecure if he hadn't been such a powerful senator. Daschle has juice. He could talk to people, take positions, speak authoritatively. He was an important man who, it goes without saying, needed to have a car and driver at his disposal. In just two years after leaving the Senate, he made something like $5.3 million.

This is not corruption, but neither is it change we can believe in. Tom Daschle is a good guy, but he's a creature of the system that Obama campaigned against -- the system that works discreetly, in back corridors and at cocktail parties, for monied special interests. It's not that all special interests are evil (even the health industry). It's that this system, according to Obama, has thwarted the nation's repeated attempts to deal with fundamental issues, such as health care. Daschle looked more like part of the problem than part of the solution.

Gregg Voted to Kill Commerce Before He Agreed to Lead It

I sure that subject will come up during his confirmation hearing....

President Obama’s new candidate to run the Commerce Department voted in favor of abolishing the agency as a member of the Budget Committee and on the Senate floor in 1995.

Sen. Judd Gregg , R-N.H., whose nomination was expected to be announced Tuesday, also worked in the Senate to trim the department’s budget as head of the Commerce-Justice-Science Appropriations Subcommittee.

Gregg’s 1995 votes were cast for the fiscal 1996 budget resolution, a nonbinding blueprint that outlined the GOP’s fiscal priorities after Republicans won full control of Congress for the first time in 40 years.

The Senate version of the.....

Crooked Detroit Mayor Gets Released

(Picture before arrest........ obviously)

How this guy got elected in the first place is beyond me. The city of Detroit needs to be ashamed of themselves. Kwame Kilpatrick got released early this morning around 12:30. That's normally the time pimps and dope dealers get released. A lesson for Black folks in Detroit, don't vote for the next mayor just because....... please:

DETROIT — Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick emerged from jail after serving a 99-day sentence. He was greeted in the cold by about two dozen reporters and a handful of onlookers.

The 38-year-old Kilpatrick left the downtown Detroit facility wearing a dark suit just after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. He looked thinner and his beard was fuller than when he entered jail at the end of October.

He stood for a minute or two outside the jail amid swirling snowflakes, smiling occasionally to those in the crowd who called his name and shouted: "We love you, Kwame. Detroit loves you baby!" Flanked by a number of men, several dressed in fedoras and long coats, Kilpatrick then was rushed to a waiting sport utility vehicle.

The Democrat waved from the darkened back seat as he.....

Joe "the Plumber" Wurzelbacher Advising GOP Staff

So let's see......we have Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and Joe the Plumber as the most recognizable and considered the new faces of the GOP. Wow! All three together have little to no experience in politics. In fact Palin other than her short stint as governor (just two years now) there is nothing.Being the mayor of a little ass town does not count. I know strippers and dope heads who are running little ass towns. So if this is the best the republican party has to offer is a former drug addict, a delinquent taxpayer, and a someone who can't outwit Katie Couric in a interview, then they are in serious trouble:

By | Politico

Fresh off his stint as a war correspondent in Gaza, Joe the Plumber is now doing political strategy with Republicans.

When GOP congressional aides gather Tuesday morning for a meeting of the Conservative Working Group, Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher – more commonly known as Joe the Plumber — will be their featured guest. This group is an organization of conservative Capitol Hill staffers who meet regularly to chart GOP strategy for the week.

Wurzelbacher, who became a household name during the presidential election, will be focusing his talk on the proposed stimulus package. He's apparently not a fan of the economic rescue package, according to members of the group.

If nothing else, GOP aides are using the appearance to get staffers to attend the 9 a.m meeting.

“In case you weren’t planning to attend CWG tomorrow morning, you might want to reconsider because Joe the Plumber will be joining us!” Kimberly Wallner, an aide to South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint, wrote in a message to her e-mail list this afternoon.

Last month, Wurzelbacher did a brief stint as a war reporter for the conservative web site pjtv.com.

GOP Fla. House Speaker Quits Over College Job Scandal

I try not to be too partisan, but ever since the election conservatives have been pointing fingers and slamming democrats for everything. It's like they were waiting for Bush to leave office so they could start to point fingers at Obama and his party. So I guess I have to start highlighting republican crooks and liars, and believe me there are plenty of them:

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - One of Florida's most powerful state officials has stepped down amid investigations into whether he improperly took a job at a college in the state.

State Rep. Ray Sansom effectively gave up his post as House speaker as his GOP colleagues were meeting to consider his ouster as GOP leader, a position that entitles him to serve as speaker.

Republicans voted unanimously to replace Sansom with Speaker Pro Tempore Larry Cretul.

Sansom will keep the title of speaker, though, until a formal vote can be taken on his replacement when lawmakers meet in regular session next month.

The scandal arose after Northwest Florida State College gave Sansom a $110,000 job after he funneled $35 million to the school over the last two years. Sansom also has resigned from the college post.

Rove Will Now Cooperate With DOJ Probe

Not sure what happened to change his mind. I know he is getting direction directly from George Bush's lawyer. Whatever the reason is, when these probes start they will get all the headlines for weeks. I am looking forward to this:

Karl Rove will cooperate with a federal criminal inquiry underway into the firings of nine U.S. attorneys and has already spoken to investigators in a separate, internal DOJ investigation into the prosecution of former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman, his attorney said in an interview.

Rove previously refused to cooperate with an earlier Justice Department inquiry into the firings. The Justice Department's Inspector General and its Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) said in a report released last September detailing their earlier probe of the firings of the U.S. attorneys that their investigation was severely "hindered" by the refusal by Rove and other senior Bush administration officials to cooperate with the probe.

Rove's attorney, Robert Luskin, said that.....

Arizona TV Station Has a Porn Break-in During Superbowl

MARK CARLSON
AP News

(Arizona) - A Tucson television station's broadcast of the Super Bowl on Sunday was interrupted for some viewers by about 10 seconds of pornographic material, the station said.

KVOA TV in Tucson released a statement saying that the only viewers who were able to see the material were those who receive the channel through Comcast cable.

The station said it will investigate the incident.

"When the NBC feed of the Super Bowl was transmitted from KVOA to local cable providers and through over-the-air antennas, there was no pornographic material," KVOA president and general manager Gary Nielsen said in a statement.

The KVOA statement said the station was dismayed and disappointed that some Comcast customers and their families were subjected to the material.

"KVOA will continue to investigate what happened to our clean signal and make sure our viewers get answers," Nielsen said in the statement.

Comcast spokeswoman Tracy Baumgartner confirmed that the company's standard feed was interrupted during the Super Bowl, although she said its high definition feed was not.

Baumgartner said engineers were investigating Sunday night.

Tucson media outlets reported that they received calls from irate viewers about the pornographic material.

A spokesman for Cox Cable said the company had not been affected.

"We have received no evidence that any inappropriate material was broadcast on any of our channels during the Super Bowl," Mike Dunne said. "The alleged incident appears to be isolated to the Comcast territory. We will offer our support to all appropriate organizations to help them determine what happened."

Joel Hilander of Tucson told The Associated Press that he and his young children saw the clip.

"I couldn't believe it. And I couldn't believe that my children were watching it either," Hilander said.

He said the interruption came just after the Arizona Cardinals' Larry Fitzgerald scored on a long touchdown reception during the final minutes of the game.

Donald Rumsfeld and His Bus Riding Adventure

Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld attempt to ride a bus recently was as sucessful as his appointment by George Bush apparently.

Rumsfeld "stood alone" at the 42 Metrobus bus stop just north of Dupont Circle last Thursday, when icy traffic made the roads a nightmare for drivers, Roll Call's [paid-restricted, sorry] Emily Heil and Elizabeth Brotherton reported Monday.

With his SmarTrip card in hand -- the DC metro's rechargeable fare card -- Rumsfeld "stood quietly" waiting for the bus.

“It was almost like the guy at the first day of work,” Heil and Brotherton's source remarked. “He was looking at the card, thinking, ‘How does this work?’”

The bus eventually came but "was too packed to pick up any more passengers," the reporters wrote.

Rumsfeld apparently gave up, walking away down the hill.

“He made it down the hill just fine,” the paper's source said. “He didn’t fall or anything.”

And so Donald Rumsfeld, once a favorite and cunning coddler of the Washington press corps, was obliged to take to his destination on foot.

Since his resignation as Defense Secretary in 2006, Rumsfeld has kept a relatively low profile, accepting a one-year stint as a fellow at the Hoover Institution, and pitching a memoir, though no book deal has been announced.

Should We Leagalize Marijuana?

I like many people have experimented with marijuana in my lifetime. After trying it and seeing the effects it had on me, I knew this was something I could not use on a regular basis and since it was illegal I could not use it at all if I wanted to keep a job.

Since the recent news of Michael Phelps being outed as at least a one time user of the drug, I thought about what the big deal is over the use of it. Alcohol at one time was illegal to consume itself which of course resorted to it being sold illegally and offenders profiting very well.

Now of course you can get as drunk as you want in you home and there is not a damn thing anyone can do about. Also companies that produce alcohol record historic profits year after year and produce millions of jobs. In that same breath alcoholism and alcohol related driving and overdose deaths are at epidemic proportions. The health care cost for treating alcoholism is also out of control.

Here is a study done on alcohol vs marijuana, check it out.

David Duke: GOP traitors appoint Black racist as Chairman of the Republican Party

What do you have to do to be called a racist by White supremacist David Duke? Be the first Black leader of the RNC that's what:

By David Duke, former Republican member of the House of Representatives in Louisiana, and former Chairman of the Largest Republican District in the state

The Republican Party leadership in its latest act of self-immolation appointed, Michael Steele, a radical Black racist as the leader of the Party.

Steele is a passionate supporter of affirmative action programs that racially discriminate against tens of millions of White Americans. He also supports increased discrimination against White owned businesses in the awarding of non-merit and non-bid minority contracts. He is opposed to the death penalty and thinks that it is disproportionately applied to Blacks even though it is applied to White murderers at 500 percent higher than it is to Black murderers. He is also an advocate of more gun control legislation as well as a draconian, massively increased enforcement of the current laws. He is a servile dog of Israel and has condemned Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorists and yet said not a word of compassion for the 5,000 (half of them women and children) who have been maimed and murdered in Gaza by Israel’s weapons of mass destruction. He says that he would still support the Iraq War and the loss of 50,000 maimed Americans, 4500 killed and trillions in cost, even though the reason for the war (Weapons of Mass Destruction) was proven to be a lie.

Finish story......

House Republicans Call Sarah Palin a "Liar"

You tellin' me that the gun totin, moose huntin, chilli makin, baby poppin, Valley trash shirt wearin, oil drill lovin, lipstick on a pitbull wearin, Alaska consignment shop buyin, un-wed pregnant daughter havin and clothes shoppin Sarah Palin has pissed off house republicans?

When House Republicans planned their annual winter retreat, they extended an invitation to Alaska Gov. Sara Palin, hoping the party's 2008 vice presidential nominee would give a morale-building speech to the more than 130 Republican members of Congress gathered this weekend in Hot Springs, Va.

Retreat organizers tell ABC News that Palin politely declined, giving a perfectly understandable reason. According to the Congressional Institute, which hosted the conference, Palin said she simply could not make it to the retreat because pressing state business made it impossible for her to leave Alaska this weekend.

So where is Palin this weekend? She's in Washington, D.C., attending the super-elite Alfalfa Dinner.

"She lied to us," said a Republican at the retreat.

Bush Best Pal Tony Blair has Been Talking to Hamas for Months

I thought we don't deal with or negotiate with terrorist. Well it seems George Bush's strongest ally on the "War on Terror" has been talking to Jew killer Hamas for months. I thought Obama was the one who was naive in even suggesting such a thing. Wonder what old Georgie thinks about that.

Russian Economic Protesters Call for Putin to Resign

Maybe he and Bush can finish their evil wizard game now.....

Russia was rocked today by some of its strongest protests yet as thousands rallied across the vast country to attack the Kremlin's response to the global economic crisis.

The marches, complete with Soviet-style red flags and banners, pose a challenge to a government which has faced little threat from the fragmented opposition and politically apathetic population during the boom years fuelled by oil.

Pro-government thugs beat up some of the protesters.

Obama Keeps CIA's Renditions

The role of the CIA's controversial prisoner-transfer program may expand, intelligence experts say.

The CIA's secret prisons are being shuttered. Harsh interrogation techniques are off-limits. And Guantanamo Bay will eventually go back to being a wind-swept naval base on the southeastern corner of Cuba.

But even while dismantling these programs, President Obama left intact an equally controversial counter-terrorism tool.

Under executive orders issued by Obama recently, the CIA still has authority to carry out what are known as renditions, secret abductions and transfers of prisoners to countries that cooperate with the United States.

Obama Roasts on Rham, Dines with Mccain & Palin

Feb 1st, 2009 | WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama poked fun at his volatile chief of staff in a free-for-all roasting of Washington and its politicians Saturday night.

Obama and his wife, Michelle, attended the Alfalfa Club dinner, an annual black-tie event where the capital's political and business leaders give humorous speeches.

After a day where Obama readied a new road map for bailout spending and faced questions over a second Cabinet nominee with tax problems, it was chief of staff Rahm Emanuel who was a target of much of the president's ribbing.

"Now this hasn't been reported yet, but it was actually Rahm's idea to do the swearing-in ceremony again," Obama said. "Of course, for Rahm, every day is a swearing-in ceremony.

"Every week the guy takes a little time away to give back to the community. Just last week he was at a local school, teaching profanity to poor children," according to Obama. Excerpts of Obama's remarks were released by the White House.

Also attending the dinner were Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and his former vice presidential running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

The event, conducted at a hotel a few blocks from the White House, was closed to the media.

The club's sole task is to put on the dinner. It is so named, according to club history, because the alfalfa plant's roots will reach far for liquid refreshment.

Founded in 1913, the club was off limits to women until 1994 when first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton attended the event with then President Bill Clinton.

On Saturday, Obama also ribbed the club's historical roots and exclusive tradition. The club was started partly to celebrate the birthday of Confederate General Robert E. Lee.

If Lee "were here with us tonight, the general would be 202 years old," Obama joked. "And very confused."

The president patted himself on the back for the "toughest diplomacy of my life" -- being able to keep his Blackberry.

"I finally agreed to limit the number of people who could e-mail me. It's a very exclusive list. How exclusive?"

"Everyone look at the person sitting on your left," Obama said. "Now look at the person sitting on your right. None of you have my e-mail address."

Will Limbaugh Put the Money Where His Big Fat Mouth is?

Rush Limbaugh, recovering drug addict, symbol for American obesity and male pattern baldness continues to make a name for himself with his phony WWF type political antics that help him live in his mansion while the majority of his listeners lean back in their lawn chairs in front of their trailer and listen to him on the radio.

Recently he has gone after Obama saying "I hope Obama fails." I know he was talking about his liberal agenda failing but of course he allowed the media to go with it, until he decided to clarify later.

When it comes to actual solution Limbaugh has none, but causing a rift, hatred and misinformation he is golden.

I would love to see if Mr. Pill Popper will have the balls to take Campbell Brown's challenge. We will see if he only gripes on the air and calls her a broad, or be a man and take the fight to her:
